Bryan Gleason: President & Founder American Lands

Bryan Gleason grew up in a small town outside Philadelphia in his family's third generation historic hotel and restaurant. After over fifty years of ownership, the family decided it was time to sell. Bryan took on the arduous task of running the family business until an appropriate buyer was found. Three years and four real estate companies later, only by luck, a buyer was finally found.
Concerned with his experience of trying to sell his familys unique historic property and the rapid rise of sprawl, the initial idea of creating American Lands was planted.

Bryan relocated to Washington D.C. and spent the next several years learning everything he could about real estate. Bryan earned real estate licenses in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland and became trained in Historic Real Estate by the Historic Trust for Historic Preservation. In 2003, he helped launch My Home Management Club; a national resource and advocacy service for home owners. During this time he also served as a Real Estate consultant for local land trusts. Bryan continued educating himself by attending training and conferences around the county for historic, conservation, and green real estate. Today Bryan is known as an expert resource in marketing historic and conservation real estate.

In 2009 Bryan created American Lands to bring buyers and sellers of unique American properties together and as a way to educate and inform the public about these valuable American treasures. Today American Lands serves as an invaluable resource for Homeowneres, Realtors, Land Trusts, Historic Organizations, and the public to showcase their unique properties.

Bryan Gleason resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Jennifer, daughter Helena, son Graham, and dog Stella.
